Police: Several, including infant, exposed to pepper spraying

ROSEVILLE - Several people were treated for pepper spray exposure after a fight broke out at a mall on Sunday.

Roseville police say it started with an altercation between two women at The Children's Place store on the first level of the Galleria mall around 4 p.m.

It was then that someone released pepper spray, exposing 7 people.

Roseville Police spokeswoman Dee Dee Gunther says that of the 7 people treated, 1 was an infant, and two more were 3-year-old twins.

Though a number of people were transported to the hospital, no serious injuries were involved.

Gunther says that due to conflicting statements, there have been no arrests made.

This comes after another pepper spraying incident at the Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento the day before. Police say that the incidents are not related.
