Roseville, CA – Easter is hard for bunnies. Every year, the Placer SPCA and other area shelters struggle to get the word out that rabbits should not be treated as disposable holiday gifts, but rather considered as a long-term addition to the family. Clearly, this message falls on deaf ears for some.
On Monday, April 9, the day after Easter, three young rabbits were found abandoned in front of the Placer SPCA.
