ROSEVILLE, CA - It appears a fight at the Westfield Galleria at little after midnight last Friday morning didn't end there.
The confrontation, which involved two groups of teenagers exchanging insults and pushing each other, was over by the time police arrived, said Roseville police spokeswoman Dee Dee Gunther. There were no reports of assault or arrests at the time.
However, about 5 that morning, Gunther said a Roseville teenager called police to report a car belonging to his family had had its windows, headlights and taillights broken as well as been severely dented. Officers learned the teen had been a participant in the mall fight.
Officers investigated and Saturday morning went to Citrus Heights to arrest four people believed responsible for using baseball bats and other instruments on the damaged car.
Taken to Placer County Jail on booking charges of vandalism, conspiracy and gang charges were Roberto Ivan Volz, 21, and Sandy Orellana, 18, both of Citrus Heights.
The other two arrested were a 16-year-old boy from Citrus Heights and a 17-year-old boy from Turlock, Gunther said.
