Suspect arrested in Loomis, Penryn armed business robberies
PLACER COUNTY, CA - A tip led Placer County sheriff's detectives to a suspect in two recent armed robberies.
Dwayne Deshawn Hargo, 30, of Penryn, was arrested on suspicion of sticking up Star Liquor store in Loomis Jan. 16 and the Valero gas station in Penryn Jan. 18, said sheriff's spokeswoman Dena Erwin.
No one was hurt in the crimes.
Erwin said the release of a store surveillance camera image of the robbery at Star Liquor helped investigators identify a suspect.
Hargo was booked into Placer County on two counts of armed robbery. His bail was set at $100,000.
