PLACER COUNTY, CA - Placer County sheriff's deputies say they found a cache of stolen property believed taken from residents in rural Lincoln and Sheridan when they busted three burglary suspects in Loomis Friday morning.

Among the items recovered were power tools and lawn equipment, said sheriff's spokeswoman Dena Erwin.

Arrested on suspicion of burglary, receiving stolen property and conspiracy were Richard E. Burns, 34; Trevor E. Lewis, 20; and Mark Allen Cox, 19. Erwin said the trio were recognized in a photo line-up by homeowners who interrupted a burglary at their home on 7500 block of Barton Road Thursday afternoon.

Anyone who has had the type of equipment described stolen recently was urged to contact Sgt. Brian Whigam at (530) 889-7856.

Meantime, Burns posted bail while Lewis and Cox remained in custody at Placer County Jail.
