Denio’s Celebrates Dad’s Day on June 16th | Events
Denio’s Roseville Farmers Market and Swap Meet will celebrate Dad’s Day on Saturday, June 16 with American classics: Classic Cars, Craft Beers and Corn Dogs. The inaugural “Dad’s Day at Denio’s” event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“Denio’s has always been family oriented,” said Ken Denio, owner of Denio’s Farmers Market and Swap Meet. “It was started in 1947 by my father and we hope that this will become a new tradition for fathers and their kids in years to come.”
“Dad’s Day” will take place on the Denio’s Roseville Farmers Market and Swap Meet grounds in the area known to many as the “flats.” More than 50 classic cars, including the Denio’s own 1947 fire truck will be on display. In addition, specialty craft beers will also be available for tastings and purchase to those over 21 for a small fee. All families are also invited to try one of Denio’s famous hand-dipped corn dogs – a true American treat.
Entrance into the “Dad’s Day at Denio’s” event is free for all. There is a $3 parking fee per car, so Denio’s is encouraging family and friends to carpool. Denio’s is open every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine. The Friday Farmers market is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
About Denio’s Farmers Market and Swap Meet
Denio’s Roseville Farmers Market was founded in 1947 by Jim and Marilee Denio. It began small, with a single individual selling produce near the Southern Pacific Railroad Yard. Denio’s has always been a family-oriented venture. As the auction grew, so did the Denio family. Today, Jim and Marilee’s son, Ken, carries on the family business by maintaining the same values and traditions started by his parents over 65 years ago. With four generations on hand to serve you, Denio’s will continue to offer you fresh produce and bargain merchandise for years to come.
