Hwy 65. reopened in Wheatland after fatal wreck | News
WHEATLAND, CA - A fatal accident involving a motorcycle required Highway 65 to be closed from State Street to Main Street in Wheatland Thursday morning.
Officer Rich Wetzel of the California Highway Patrol said the wreck occurred around 7:47 a.m., forcing a total highway closure and considerable traffic backup.
The northbound direction of Hwy. 65 was reopened by 8:38 a.m. and the southbound side by 9:22 a.m., according to Wetzel,
Wetzel did not provide a cause of the crash.
