Michelle Ponto is an award winning journalist, published author and former editor of a travel and food magazine, Michelle Ponto joined News10 as their Executive Producer of  Interactive & Social Media/Web journalist in December 2009.

After working at a number of TV stations and magazines across the country including Discovery Channel, CBS Memphis, CBS Houston, New York Times, Home Shopping Network and Advantage Steel Magazine, she's finally decided to settle down in Sacramento-- but that doesn't mean she's going to curl up in front of the TV every night. 

Michelle is currently addicted to long distance cycling, wine and chocolate...and NPC competitions. Yes, she knows this contradicts the wine and chocolate, but she's a complicated woman.

She's always open to new adventures and has been known to try anything once (and the good things more than once). When she's not busy working on her second book called "Going Solo", she's checking out everything Sacramento and Northern California has to offer.
